TMC Archives Disclaimer — Depending on your territory some of these vehicles may not be available for sale at the time of writing. Others may be limited edition, which are occasionally on sale. It has been a while — nearly a year — since we reviewed any Premium tanks here at TMC. Before we start, people ask the question — or indeed forget to ask the question — why bother with Premium tanks? There are a few reasons you may want to own one or more. The first is they earn cash — more per battle than the equivalent non-Premium of the same Tier — and their ammunition is typically cheaper than standard tanks. The second is crew training.
Along with the armor it has decent mobility and firepower which this guide will touch on. Starting out this guide is a quick video that goes over the positive and negative aspects of the M4A3E2. Also, in the video are two matches of the M4A3E2 being played. Generally you will only want to angle the hull between degrees since anymore and your side armor becomes a liability.

The Americans manufactured the gun in large numbers after its adoption, building 1, units before the end of World War I. However, the need for a tank gun was in high demand after the German Blitzkrieg tactics showed that their current tank inventory was insufficient. Thus, the gun that would become the 75 mm gun was derived from the 75 mm Gun M Service The 75 mm gun was first used as the M2 variant mounted onto the M3 Lee on a sponson mount.
This was an interim design due to the lack of turret able to mount the gun.

So, I’m making this simple tut for anyone who is having problems playing the Jumbo or is considering getting it. First of all you need to understand that the Jumbo is a crossbreed between a heavy and medium tank, combining the armament and size of a medium, with the armor of a heavy at the loss of marginally reduced speed and maneuverability.
There are number of ways you can use the Jumbo successfully, you can be in the front-line with your team dealing good damage with the mm howitzer, or provide support and snipe from afar with the 76mm gun. The first step is knowing your play style, you’ll find it very difficult to get out of tough situations if you use the wrong module setup for your Jumbo. I’ve seen many players in the Jumbo use the upgraded turret and final 76mm gun act as front-line support.
I’ve not seen one survive a fight so far. If you prefer to be up close in the action, I strongly recommend keeping the stock. A number of people I spoke to in-game were unaware of the thickness of the stock turret, it has mm on all sides In case you didn’t know compared to the upgraded turret which has 76mm on the front and 50mm on the sides and rear. So being in the front-line is risky business if you have the second turret. Despite the the stock turret getting only m view range compared to its successor’s m range, it doesn’t make much of a difference as you’re acting as a front-line tank.
Why need m view range when your enemy is only m or less away from you? On top of the turret, pack the mm howitzer, although HE rounds got nerfed, they’re not entirely useless. When you’re up close and personal the mm is a great gun as it still packs a punch and deals lots of criticals to crew and modules, even if you deal low damage with the HE shells, you have the armor to protect you long enough to get back into cover.
Another handy tip is that the Jumbo’s front armor is mm 1mm more than the Tiger and it’s weight is roughly 34 tons, combining these with its decent speed Everyone says the jumbo is slow for some reason, IMO it’s decent considering the overall package of the Jumbo you can ram a lot of tanks and take the punishment, so don’t be afraid to give them a little nudge if you can.

Matchmaking Matchmaking The composition of tanks in each team is a task of matchmaker. It works in following manner. It takes one tank from the queue and looks at his tier. For example it is IS – russian heavy with tier 7.
The heavy-armored assault variant of the M4A3(75)W. The vehicle featured additional mm armor plates, enhanced transmission compartment hatch, and a new turret with enhanced armor that was developed on the basis of the T23 turret.
Trust me, I know what I am saying, because I did exactly this myself last year: It requires a lot of doublechecking too, maybe that’s why the whole damn thing is so slow. Anyhow, the rules on the EU site are quite vague and looser than the RU thread itself, without any punishment too. Is that a good thing? Because the same people, who answer the RU thread will answer the EU questions too – and naturally apply the RU rules.
What is even worse: Was there no time to answer it? Was it illegal or just stupid? The essential thing therefore is to realize that even when it is not written anywhere expressively, the same basic rules from RU thread DO apply for the EU posts. Let’s have a look at them. There are five basic post types the developers hate: Bojan – in SerBspeak it means a retarded question.
There can be any number of these and the term itself is very, very broad. I’ll get to various types later.

Sherman M4A3E8 earned the nickname from its experimental E8 designation. This new variant entered into WWII late in the war Dec , and was kept in service in various western allied nations deep into the Cold war. Evolutionary differences from the prior Sherman variants “Wet ammo rack”. Storage of ammunition in the floor of the tank This tank sported the much-vaunted HVSS horizontal volute spring suspension wide track and suspension upgrade.
HVSS suspension increased the Sherman’s weight by lbs with the T66 single-pin track and lbs with the T84 double-pin track. HVSS allowed the installation of wider tracks, thereby decreasing the tank’s ground pressure, and eased maintenance on the running gear since the bogie no longer had to be disassembled to remove road wheels.

M4 Sherman Posted By: For many in-game its one of their first tier 5 tanks where the game truly begins to take shape. The M4 Sherman is a favorite of many players since it is easy to play and has two viable top guns. The 76mm is your standard gun that uses AP rounds. The mm is a howitzer gun that uses a HE round as its main round. Both provide distinct pros and cons compared to one another. It provides 2, damage per minute without equipment factored in.
Your standard HE does damage with 53mm penetration. It also has a premium HEAT shell that does damage with mm penetration. The accuracy is high enough to land HE shots reliably at most ranges, but hitting where you want to HEAT is difficult. The shell velocity does make hitting moving targets or long range shots hard with only meters per second. The mm sees the M4 Sherman have a higher damage threshold but limits its ability to damage fast and long distance targets.
